This vacation plan is a suggestion for first-time visitors to Costa Rica, or people who would like to observe nature but at the same time enjoy Costa Rica's nice hotels and fine local cuisine.

Day 1	Arrival and transfer to our hotel near San Jose.
Day 2 (B,L,D)	After breakfast, we begin our relaxed adventure via Poas Volcano. After a short walk of only 600 meters you will have a chance to look into the main crater of an active volcano (not erupting), and walk through a cloud forest home of the rare Quetzal bird. We continue to the Waterfall Gardens for a close look at some of the most beautiful waterfalls in CR. a great lunch, butterfly garden and hummingbird gallery. Then to our hotel in the Arenal area. Before dinner we will have a briefing on the activities and wildlife in the area.
Day 3 (B,L,D)	Early departure for the Safari Float along the Peñas Blancas River only 5 minutes away, looking for caimans, monkeys, birds, etc. After lunch, we make our way to Arenal Volcano. Night at our hotel in the area.
Day 4 (B,L,D)	After breakfast begin our journey to Monteverde Cloud Forest on a scenic road around Lake Arenal. We should arrive at Monteverde for lunch. Night in Monteverde.
Day 5 (B,L,D)	Visit the forest for a 2 hour walk and the hummingbird gallery to take a close look at some of the beautiful hummingbirds of the area. Back to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon , we go for the walk of a life time (The Sky Walk), It is a set of bridges through the canopy of the cloud forest. (1:30 hrs). Dinner at Restaurant de Lucia.
Day 6 (B,L,D)	In the morning, time to relax or do some other activities. Leave Monteverde to go to Villa Lapas, a nice hotel by Carara National park.
Day 7 (B,L,D)	Early visit to Carara National Park for a nice walk looking for more wildlife. Some time after lunch, return to San Jose. Night at a nice hotel in San Jose.
Day 8	Transfer to the airport.
